Tylend Dawson Sr

Tylend Dawson Sr. serves as a Sr. Business Analyst in the Information Technology function for General Motors (GM). Dawson graduated from Indiana University where he holds a Masters in Information System with a concentration in Business Intelligence (2013) and Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (2012). He began his career with GM in 2013 as a Software Test Engineer in Detroit, Michigan. In February 2018, Dawson was awarded the 2018 Black Engineer of the Year Award - Modern Day Technology Leader  

Dawson has been providing professional Tax service and Financial Consulting for the last 5 years in his hometown, Fort Wayne, IN and Detroit, MI. He decided to help create Dawson & Meeks LLP to assist clients with the simplicity of completing there taxes and helping people be more self-reliance when it comes to financial decisions.

Johnathan Meeks Sr. serves as a Field Claims Adjuster in the industry of Risk Management and Insurance (RMI) for Indiana Farm Bureau (IFB).  Meeks graduated from Indiana University where he holds a Bachelors of Science in RMI. 

Meeks started his career in 2014, and has a very diverse background in Insurance and Financial Services.  Meeks started his career as a Commercial Lines Underwriter, where he managed accounts with an average premium of $250,000. Meeks has also worked for a national insurance carrier (Travelers Insurance) where he specialized in Financial Services Authority (FSA) monitoring and reporting.
